Weight Loss Station!

Another goal for the year is to lose weight and get healthy. In order to do that I got a gym membership and I will be going to Zumba and Yoga classes.

I have also set up my weight loss station at home so that I can track my progress and stay motivated. On the board I will put a calendar with my schedule on it and a weight tracker chart. I'm sure you can see that I am a very visual person so having all these reminders and things will help me to stay on track and make sure this happens.

This is my goal/motivation picture! I WILL GET THERE.

TEAVANA: A little slice of heaven!

Went to visit my sister in Ft. Worth over the holidays and they introduced me to Teavana. It is AMAZING. Loose leaf teas that are wonderful! I don't think I will drink regular tea again! We bought lots of it and I look forward to trying each and every flavor that we have.
Today I am making a cup of White Chocolate Peppermint tea! SUPER EXCITED!!!

One of the first things I did when we got home was clean off this shelf and make it our tea shelf... The tea tins that we got look AWESOME up here and yes, it matches the theme of the year.... ORGANIZED!!!

If you have never heard of or been to Teavana you should do it!!! :)

Getting Organized in 2014

So, I have spent I don't know how much money buying planners to try and organize myself. None of them have ever really worked for my needs. So, this year I decided to make my own. I started with a 1 1/2 inch binder and then got to work.

I found a year long planner online that I downloaded that had some fun covers that I used as well. I really love the monthly calendars!

Then I made my own weekly pages with my personal schedule typed in. It is so great because it is completely customized to me an my needs. I even put a section for my gym workout for the day!

And to add some organization and color I made dividers with scrapbook paper and stick on tabs... They are so cute and amazing! I laminated the paper so they will last longer!

That's my planner that I made and I am so excited about it! :)

Another new beginning.

So, 2014 has just begun and I am determined to improve myself in every aspect of my life.
  • First, I am getting myself organized in my work and home life so that I feel less stressed and things go smooth.
  • Next, I am working on losing weight and getting healthy. I got a gym membership and they have lots of classes and different things I can do to make this happen!
  • My husband and I are starting a couples bible study so that we can grow more in our spiritual life and our marriage can become stronger and better.
There will be more posts to come about each of these areas of improvement in my life!
